This original vintage half pint glass milk bottle would have been delivered to you door with fresh milk sealed with a foil cap up to around the 1970's.
We remember our grandparents pouring us milk from these when we were little kids, and they really bring back alot of great memories of that time!
Our milk bottles are all original and were used in dairies around Victoria. We also love how these were left out for the milk man to collect and reuse. One of the great early forms of recycling!
Now that milk comes in plastic cartons, we love these for the sense of nostalgia they provoke, and like to use them as a display item, a pretty vase, or the serve water at the table!
We think the half pint ones are even cuter than their one pint siblings!
As many different types of bottles were produced, the bottle may vary slightly from the one pictured. Some may have some more wear and tear than others.
