We love our mechanical tin toy space rocket!

This tin rocket is based on classic Japanese 1950's tin space rockets. 

The "Skyexpress Spaceship" when pushed along will gather it's own momentum and when it's tip bumps into something the spaceship is propelled upright, and the landing compartment pops open to reveal the astronaut inside!

It makes us nostalgic for the tin toys of days gone by.
