We love our colourful collection of tin robots! They are reminiscent of their older, original siblings from the mid 1950's, and carry with them a sense of nostalgia for times past!

It is widely held that the first tin robots were made in Japan in the mid 1940's after the war, although tin toys had been made since the mid 19th Century in Germany, and then the USA, with the earliest tin toys dating back to 1850's Germany.

Ariel is the smallest robot in our family.

We love his baby blue colour and red feet!

Comes with a key to wind him up - and off he goes!

Please note: Due to small parts and sharp edges this item is not suitable for children under 6 years old.
