Just like mid last century this hand made measuring cup is an invaluable cooking tool for the home baker wanting to channel the kitchens of yesteryear.
It is proudly Made in England, by hand, using the same using the same machinery that had been in use since the 1920s!
This measure is calibrated in both metric and imperial increments making it ideal for use with recipes from your old cookbooks and those passed down from your grandmother without the need for scales.
It features a multitude of ingredients measurement scales from rolled oats, cornflour and sugar to flour, sultanas and coconut. It includes English cups and pints, Metric millilitres and American cups and pints. Despite being known as a 'dry' measure it can also be used to measure liquids.
Over 20 hand processes go into the making of each Tala measuring cup, with one of a small team of skilled people overseeing each products manufacture. It is not only made by hand but is made by either Brenda, Maureen, Graham or one of his team in Liverpool, England. We think it is amazing to know the names of the people that make something you can still buy today!

Hand wash only in warm soapy water, rince and dry well - do not put in dishwasher.
Remember your cook's measure is made from tin plate if you leave it wet it may rust.
